BUOYANT Bromsgrove Sporting are set to break their crowd record this Saturday when they play Bristol Manor Farm in the FA Vase Fifth Round.

Sporting are bracing themselves for a massive turnout at their Victoria Ground which seems certain to beat their previous best attendance of 989 when they faced Coventry United in a top of the table Midland League match.

Club officials are confident of beating that total, especially as they printed 1,000 tickets in advance which have all sold out.

However, the club insist the match is not an all ticket affair.

Manager Paul Smith said: "We had the tickets printed as a precaution simply to help ease pressure on the turnstiles ahead of the game. People can still come along and pay on the gate.

"It might be we need to have some more tickets printed ahead of the game, but the size of the Victoria Ground is big enough to cope."

The match has really captured the imagination of the town and is the biggest game to be played there since Bromsgrove Sporting were born in 2009.
