JACK Edwards, the little boy whose battle against leukaemia touched the hearts of people throughout Ludlow and south Shropshire, has died.
The seven-year-old from Cleobury Mortimer died at home four years after being diagnosed with the disease.
Jack passed peacefully away at home on Wednesday, August 24.
A posting by Cleobury Mortimer Funeral Directors described Jack as an inspiration to all who knew him who will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and the whole community.
A service of thanksgiving to celebrate Jacks short life will take place at The Parish Church of St Mary, Cleobury Mortimer on Wednesday, August 31 at 11.30am following which he will be laid to rest in Cleobury Cemetery.
