THE Hereford members of the National Veteran Cycle Club knew the perfect place to start their “Elgar Ride”.
A statue of the composer in Cathedral Close proved the obvious meeting place before the group set off and visited Elgar’s former Plas Gwyn home on Hampton Park Road.
The cyclists also made their way along the Rotherwas Greenway and over to Mordiford on the trip.
