POWER tools were stolen from a property in the village of Coughton near Ross-on-Wye while the householder was at home.

Intruders struck between 7.30pm and 10.15pm on February 11 when the burglars broke into the home's detached garage and gained access to a workshop by removing its door.

Power tools were stolen, including a Stihl chainsaw, a Makita cordless drill, a Riobi power head with brush cutter, strimmer and hedge cutter attachments and a pruner.

A Stihl petrol leaf blower was also stolen from the garden shed.

The resident's dog barked while the householder reported hearing car doors banging at approximately 10pm, but thought it was from the roadside.
