TWO men and a dog managed to escape a Brierley Hill house unharmed after a suspected arson attack.
Firefighters tackled the blaze at the two-storey home in Brettell Lane at 3.10am today (Friday).
A car parked on the drive is believed to have been deliberately set on fire, with the flames then spreading to the porch.
All occupants left the house via the back door before firefighters arrived but one man was treated by paramedics for mild smoke inhalation.
He did not require hospital treatment.
A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman said: "The fire caused 70 per cent damage to the vehicle and 90 per cent damage to the porch. It is believed to be arson."
Police enquiries are currently ongoing.
