THE next drop-in session of the West Side Neighbourhood Watch takes place at the St John's Youth and Community Centre, Swanpool Walk, Worcester, on Friday, August 8 between 10am and 4pm.

The session will include first aid training between 10am and 1pm which involves learning life-saving skills. Only 20 places are now left. The course is free (although a donation is requested) and a certificate is issued at the end by the British Heart Foundation.

Stonham Home Group and Stonham Domestic Abuse Service will also be present. They work with people leaving care, single homeless people and refugees, those with mental health problems, learning disabilities or physical disabilities, those who have been in prison, men, women and their children who are escaping domestic violence and people with drug and/or alcohol dependency problems.

Macmillan Cancer Support will be present between 10am and 1pm.

Also present will be Worcestershire Macmillan Citizens Advice which offers a free, confidential advice service for people living with cancer, their carers and relatives. NHS Health Trainers will also be offering free health MOTs.
