CHILDREN at a Vale school have been having the times of their lives in a recent production looking back over the last 150 years.

The show was a huge hit with audiences and saw pupils exploring aspects of the school's and the countries history.

The show, Time of their Lives, was written by teachers, pupils and staff, at the school as it celebrates its own 150th anniversary.

Sally Martin, headteacher, said: "We wanted to look at the history as we mark our 150th year. We have looked at the Victorian period, at the break out of war in 1914, and at 1964 and the swinging sixties.

"The children travelled through the periods researching the story with a tardis. It was a huge success. The 60s part of the show had the audiences up on their feet."
