DOG owners living in Dudley Council’s high rise flats can book their pet in for a free health check, courtesy of the PDSA.

The charity’s PetCheck tour will visit Clent and Claverley Court, Dudley , to give four-legged friends a once over on Wednesday April 30.

Brierley Hill residents will also be able to take advantage of the service at Chapel Street estate housing office, on May 1 and on Friday May 2, the tour will stop off in Netherton's Arley and Compton Courts.

All visits will take place between 9am and 4pm.

Andrea Pope Smith, director of adult, community and housing services, said: “Many of our residents have dogs and welcome the help and advice the PDSA has to offer. Those attending will be able to receive information about the five animal welfare needs including diet and nutrition, body shape awareness, dental care, general health and wellbeing."

Other preventative services such as microchipping, nail clipping and ear cleaning may be available but charges will apply.
