THE girls at Ludlow’s CW Sellors Fine Jewellery are a shining example again after securing a place on the shortlist in the Midlands Manufacturing Excellence awards.
These new awards salute family businesses across all manufacturing industries that can demonstrate success across a range of measures, including product and market development, financial growth and success, sourcing of raw materials, and how to find and retain skilled workers.
Last year, CW Sellors was shortlisted for the family business of the year and service excellence awards and returned as runner-up for the family business of the year. Winners of the awards will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday, November 8.
Diane Sellors, director, said the awards were a brilliant way to recognise talented businesses in the Midlands.
“It is a huge honour to be shortlisted for the awards for the second year, especially in the new category for manufacturing, which is what our business stems from,” she said.
