A BLUEPRINT for the future of Tenbury is to be unveiled.

It marks a prolonged programme of work by the Tenbury Partnership to prepare the latest community plan.

The process started in spring 2011, when it was agreed that the existing Tenbury and Burford Parish Plan needed refreshing.

Central to the plan are the results of an information gathering exercise designed to discover what the people of the two communities think of where they live.

It celebrates the good things recorded by residents, as well as identifying areas that need developing over the next few years.

The revised plan will be dual purpose – a tourist guide for the area and a reference document supporting future funding applications to develop community projects.

It will also be used as the base for a neighbourhood plan jointly backed by Burford and Tenbury councils.

The plan will be revealed at The Pump Rooms on Saturday, April 28, between 10am and 2pm.
