POLICE are treating a fire that ripped through a hotel near Ludlow last night as suspicious.
A number of fire crews were called to The Bringewood Hotel in Burrington at 11pm and spent the night tackling the blaze.
It is estimated that hundreds of thousands of pounds of damage was caused to the building.
No one was thought to be in the hotel at the time.
Pete Butcher, police press officer for Herefordshire, said that at this stage it is being treated as suspicious and forensic officers will continue to assess the scene throughout today.
