A LUDLOW ale has the taste of success after being crowned the best in Shropshire.
Ludlow Gold, produced by the Ludlow Brewing Company, fought off 15 different county ales to lift the Shropshire Brewers Cup.
It was the first time in the Corve Street business’s short two-and-a-half year history that it had claimed the prize, and managing director Gary Walters says he hopes the success can help expand the brewery’s status.
