YOU can enjoy a journey through Antarctica by visiting Ludlow library and resource centre.

There are a number of fascinating displays which are sure to capture the imagination including amazing stories from Shropshire Antarcticans, a look at the history of whaling and sealing in the area and the wonderful wildlife of the continent.

The library has a range of captivating mementos, video elements and stunning pictures, including shots by celebrated wildlife photographer Ben Osborne. The exhibition allows an intimate yet exciting exploration of Antarctica.

The exhibition, open until April 25, is in partnership with the British Antarctic Survey, Scott Polar Research Institute, the National Museum of Wales, the Severn Partnership, Seeable and Orangeleaf Systems.
