THERE will be a public meeting in Ludlow to discuss revised plans for a new supermarket and petrol station on the outskirts of the town.
It follows the submission of revised plans for the supermarket at Rocks Green.
These including making the store smaller than had originally been proposed and reducing the number of parking spaces.
The meeting has been called by Vivienne Parry and Andy Boddington who represent Ludlow on Shropshire Council.
“We want to know how people feel about the plans,” said Vivienne Parry.
“This is an important and controversial issue with opinion divided and strong views for and against. We want to hear from both sides of the argument.”
The meeting is at the Women’s Centre in Ludlow at 6pm on Tuesday, January 3. Responses to the consultation on the new plans have to be lodged by Thursday, January 12.
