A LAWYER with an expertise in tax, wills, trusts, elderly clients’ issues and property has joined a Ludlow law firm.
Alastair Brierley has joined mfg Solicitors as a legal consultant, working closely with partners Valerie Robinson and Peter Stephens to advise clients on key areas of law, including trusts,
He is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and The Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists.
The appointment is the latest in a long line of positive news for mfg Solicitors in Shropshire.
Since the takeover of Ludlow firm Phillips & Co in July 2013, the firm has expanded further in the county.
As well as over 30 years of legal practice, Alastair Brierley has also taught at Bristol, Aberystwyth and Manchester Metropolitan Universities, focusing on trusts, succession, revenue and land law. He has also lectured legal professionals on key topics.
He has lived in Shropshire for more than 20 years.
