FATFace in Ludlow decided to do something different to mark ‘Black Friday'.

As many shops and businesses cut their prices for Black Friday, FatFace opted to give money to local charities.

The Ludlow-based group Working Together, for young people with learning difficulties, was delighted that once again FatFace had selected them as their chosen charity.

Working Together is a registered charity which supports adults and young people in the community who have learning difficulties.

Through its café in Ludlow, it provides work experience; besides being a safe and welcoming place for anyone needing support or a chat.

In addition, it provides other support such as social outings and gatherings, craft sessions and an Enterprise scheme.

“The staff at the Ludlow branch of FatFace are amazing,” said Carole Price of Working Together.

“They are so friendly and welcoming – we are delighted that they are doing so much to support our members. The money they raise will make such a difference to what we are able to offer.”
