THE man is arguably the best known farmer in the country was in Ludlow.
Adam Henson, best known as a presenter on the BBC Countryfile programme, was at Ludlow Assembly Rooms.
He was the guest speaker at the annual meeting of the Shropshire Wildlife Trust.
A working farmer from the Cotswolds with a special interest in rare breeds, Adam Hanson followed in the footsteps of his late father.
The Shropshire Wildlife Trust has responsibility for reserves throughout the country including Whitcliffe Common in Ludlow. It had to step in the reprieve two healthy young oak trees on the common that are threatened with the axe by The Friends of Whitcliffe Common who manage the beauty spot overlooking the town.
