SCARECROWS were on display in Orleton.
The second annual scarecrow resulted in more than 30 scarecrows on display for three days around the village.
The winners were Mike Shillcock and Charlotte Blythe while Isabella Newell won the children’s section.
Prizes were presented by Councillor Sebastian Bowen at a family fun day organised once again by Mar Pritchard, where villagers and visitors enjoyed a bar, barbeque, live music from the Alltones, tea and cakes.
There was also a well-supported dog show, bouncy castle, stalls and side shows.
All proceeds go to the village hall improvements.
