CARNIVAL came to Clun on one of the best days of the year so far.
The main event was a procession of floats through the town centre along with the crowning of the Carnival Queen.
There were marchers and floats as well as historic vehicles.
An arts and crafts exhibition was staged in the Hightown Community Centre and there was also a horticultural and home craft show held on Castle Meadow.
People from the town enjoyed entertainment as well as a tea tent and bar. Activities for children included a bouncy castle.
