THE UK's favourite bird, Erithacus rubecula better known to us as the robin is a common sight around the region, to the extent that no garden is complete without one.
But it is usually only one as they are very territorial and will drive out any interlopers.
Both male and female look the same with their distinctive red breast and they have a life span of 13 months.
