THERE will be a public meeting in Eastham for an update on the bridge collapse.

It will be at Eastham Memorial Hall tomorrow (Friday, June 10) at 2pm.

The meeting will be attended by Ken Pollock who represents Tenbury on Worcestershire County Council.

He will tell villagers about progress with the investigation into the collapse on Tuesday, May 24 and outline plans for the future.

Ken Pollock will tell villagers that the County Council recognises the need for a temporary bridge to be installed but it is not known how long this will take.

However, the County Council has said that this will take time and it is thought unlikely that a temporary bridge will be in place before the end of the summer.
