PEOPLE driving in an anti-social manner in Cleobury Mortimer risk having their cars seized by police.

A number of vehicles are being driven in an anti-social manner in the area of the car park by Barratts Orchard in Cleobury Mortimer.

It follows an incident a few weeks ago when fireworks were thrown from cars in the town.

There have been a number of reports of youths driving their cars in an anti-social manner on the car park behind Barratts Orchard in the town or parking up and playing loud music and dropping litter in the area.

This behaviour is affecting the quality of life for residents in the area, causing them alarm and annoyance. 

Police officers will be patrolling the area in an effort to deter and identify those responsible and take the necessary action.

A Section 59 Warning Notice can be given to the driver or owner of a vehicle being used in an anti-social manner. If they continue to offend, the vehicle can be seized.

Anyone with information that may assist Police in the apprehension of those involved in this activity should call 101.  The vehicle registration number of the vehicles involved would assist officers in taking positive action.
