FAT Face, the fashion retailer, joined forces with a Ludlow charity for people with learning difficulties for its own take on ‘Black Friday'.
And so Black Friday was anything but black for the Ludlow Charity ‘Working Together’ thanks to a ‘donate not discount’ initiative from the fashion retailer.
Instead of reducing the price of their goods by 10 per cent Fat face opted to share 10 per cent of their profits among worthy causes nationally.
‘Working Together’ was selected by the store in Ludlow.
“We are indebted to staff at Fat Face Ludlow for their fundraising and encouragement,” said Richard Geuter from Working Together.
"We have just received a cheque for £889.77 as our share of the profits plus an additional £50 raised for us by staff."
