A PUBLIC meeting in Ludlow on Thursday (October 1) will discuss how the town can help refugees.
There has been a huge local response from people in the town and surrounding area to the plight of refugees across Europe.
Collections have already been sent out to Calais and more are planned for Greece and the Middle East.
Now Ludlow’s Mayor Paul Draper and Andy Boddington, who represents the town on Shropshire Council, are hosting a public meeting to discuss what further the town can do to help refugees during the current crisis.
“We want to create an opportunity for people to share ideas and experiences in helping refugees,” said Paul Draper
The meeting is at 7.00pm for 7.30pm at the Feathers Hotel.
