A GIANT elephant puppet was a star attraction at the Bishops Castle Michaelmas Fair that was centred around the town centre.
The elephantine puppet was created by local artist Barbara Hawes and led the procession through the town.
There were two vehicles processions during the day that ended with the lantern parade as the light faded followed by live music on the stage at the Town Hall to help commemorate its 250th anniversary.
Other attractions included Morris Dancing, tractors, vintage vehicles, street theatre, workshops, exhibitions, alpacas and sambas.
Visitors to the Michaelmas Fair were also able to take their chance in a high flying raffle with prizes that included a ballon ride, glider flight and a tandem paragliding flight.
