A BIKE ride has taken place from Craven Arms to Aberystwyth in aid of Empathy for Special Children.

The group provides support for vulnerable children and their families with Autism, ASD, and other additional needs.

The challenging ride took nine hours to complete starting from Craven Arms at 9.30am and arriving at Aberystwyth at 6.30pm.

The charity has two groups with one based in Oswestry and the other in Craven Arms.

The groups meet every other Saturday with the next meeting taking place in Craven Arms on Saturday (July 18) at the town's community centre.

The meetings provide routine fun and creative activities for the children in a friendly environment with support from play leaders.
