THE finale of the Ludlow Fringe Festival takes place at the town's castle this weekend.

The concert will provide top-class music acts with prices being capped at £12 and £6 for students and children.

Anita Bigsby, Fringe festival director, said: "We have bought together some of the best folk names around for Saturday, including: Grey Wolf with Deborah Rose and friends; the beautiful sounds of Emma Heath and the Professor; the highly skilled Irish musicians from the Blarney Stones; our own talented young local Sam Thomas; and everybody’s favourite Hobson’s Choice, inland sea shanty singers; as well as an opportunity to put on your dancing shoes and enjoy a good old jig with the HiJinx Ceilidh band.

“Sunday will be a great night for young and old music-lovers alike with the hugely happening Electric Swing Circus, bringing their brand of vintage swing and stomping electro beats to the castle.

"They are supported by some great local talent: Slippery Slope, create a super summertime sound with their eclectic mix of Gypsy Jazz, Klezma and French Folk; the singer/songwriter Dan Williams plays his own mix of blues, new folk and acoustic rock with bags of energy; and not forgetting the band with the fresh and new sound that people want to hear time and time again, Flatlands and Garage Flowers."

You can get tickets for these events through the Ludlow Fringe website www.ludlowfringe.co.uk or from the Ludlow Assembly Rooms box office on 01584 878141.

Tickets will also be available on the door.
