THERE will be a special church service in Ludlow on Sunday June 28 and the whole town is invited.

The mayor, Councillor Paul Draper, and members of Ludlow Town Council invite residents of Ludlow to the Mayor’s Sunday Service at St Laurence’s Church.

It will celebrate the beginning of his second mayoral year and the strong community spirit of Ludlow.

The service will be led by The Venerable Colin Williams, team rector of Ludlow.

It will be a special day for Colin, who is chaplain of the town council, because he leaves Ludlow in September to take up a post based in Frankfurt with responsibility for northern and eastern Europe.

St Laurence’s Church Choir will be conducted by Shaun Ward, organist and musical director.

Ludlow Town Band will play outside the church from 11am and people are asked to arrive for 11.10am in time for the service that starts at 11.30am.
