THE Secret Gardens event in Ludlow today succeeded in avoiding any downpours despite the appearance of threatening skies for most of the day.
Visitors to the annual fundraiser for the Ludlow Assembly Rooms were able to enjoy a warm and dry day even if blue skies were seldom seen.
The event in its 26th year boasted five new gardens that have never been open to the public before.
It provided a chance to explore an eclectic selection of gardens in Corve Street, Linney, Upper Linney and Mill Street
Secret Gardens is run by Ludlow Assembly Rooms Fundraising Events (LARFE) and is its biggest annual event.
