THE Ludlow Palmers have commissioned three new multi-media paintings of St Laurence's Church from popular local artist Claire Allen-Brunn.
The paintings will be auctioned off with all proceeds going to help conserve the fabric and treasures of St Laurence's.
“Claire's paintings set recognisable buildings in an impressionistic setting,” said Hugh Wood, chairman of Ludlow Palmers.
The paintings are being unveiled at an open reception in St Laurence's from 6pm to 7pm on Friday, May 15.
Signed, limited-edition, mounted prints of the paintings will be on sale in three sizes and the originals are to be auctioned at 6.30pm by Michael Evans, formerly of Nock Deighton.
Claire Allen-Brunn will also be showing examples of her other work at the reception.
