Road works will take place at night north of Ludlow on the A49
MAJOR road works on the A49 north of Ludlow will begin on Sunday.
They will affect a six mile stretch of the road between Bromfield and Craven Arms.
It will involve the closure of the northbound carriageway between 8pm and 6am and will continue until June 1.
Traffic travelling south will not be affected.
The work to resurface the road is being undertaken by the Highways Agency and diversions using minor roads will be signposted.
