THE Bishop of Hereford has had a chance to see Ludlow at play with a visit to the town's annual May Fair.
As part of the fair there was a special church service held on Sunday set among the dodgems.
This included a ride on the dodgems for members of the church choir as well as the bishop and The Venerable Colin Williams, team rector of Ludlow.
"I think it is a really good event," said Bishop Richard. "I have really enjoyed it and was thankful to have a free ride."
Reflecting on his first official visit to Ludlow, Bishop Richard said: "I had a day in Ludlow on Friday and met a wide range of people and really enjoyed it.
"St Laurence's is a wonderful building. It takes a lot of looking after, of course, but it is a great building."
