THUNDERBIRDS are go at a new exhibition in Ludlow.

Ludlow Museum and Resource Centre is displaying a range of collectable items associated with the classic science-fiction TV show Thunderbirds.

The collection belongs to Paul Elliott who lives on Angel Bank and has been set up to celebrate the relaunch of the series in the spring.

Mr Elliot says the models were originally for his children but he soon adopted them.

"It was 'alright now kids you have had them - now I will look after them," said Mr Elliott.

"It is thanks to the resource centre for letting me do this. Without this facility none of this can take place."

The exhibition on the first floor landing is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm.

There is also an Anglo-Saxon display, which runs to March 15, called 'The Mercian Trail' at the centre.

This is about the Staffordshire Hoard and is ideal for a half-term activity.
