LUDLOW Museum Resource Centre is holding an exhibition of historic wedding dresses.
Our photo show Avril Lines, who works at the centre, holding a lace wedding dress from 1970 which was bought from Maddox in Pride Hill, Shrewsbury.
To her left is a white satin wedding dress dating from 1940.
For those that prefer their history to go a little further back there are also dresses from 1900, 1908, and a two piece lilac dress from 1870.
Although the focus is on wedding dresses the men are not forgotten either.
Featured in the exhibition is TF Broughey's tail coat from 1808 which has a hand written note in the sleeve saying 'The coat I was married in'.
The silk top hat that goes with it is also on display.
The exhibition is being held until the end of March in the Lower Gallery.
Also taking place at the centre is an Anglo-Saxon display, which runs to March 15, called 'The Mercian Trail'.
This is about the Staffordshire Hoard and is ideal for a half-term activity.
