Councillor Vivienne Parry is happy progress is being made with Ludlow's play areas.
WORK has started on the refurbishment of two of Ludlow's play areas.
A new combined slide and climbing wall has been installed in the Friar's Walk play area and a new safety surface put down.
There will also be a new safety surface laid at the Tollgate Road site.
"Although these upgrades are limited, given the little money available in the council's coffers at the moment I am glad that we are making some progress at least,” said Cllr Parry.
“I would like to thank Mark Blout and everyone at Shropshire Council for making this possible,"
