PHILIP Dunne MP is encouraging jobseekers and local employers with vacancies or apprenticeships on offer to attend his third Ludlow Jobs Fair.

This event is free for employers and jobseekers to attend and will be held at the Harley Centre, Ludlow College.

“Unemployment across the Ludlow constituency has fallen markedly since the last General Election, with the number of people claiming Jobseekers Allowance down more than half,” said Mr Dunne.

“But I want to ensure I am doing everything I can to help local people who are looking for work to connect with local employers.

“That’s why I am organising another Ludlow Jobs Fair. My previous jobs fairs in Ludlow received very positive feedback from employers, training providers and more than 400 jobseekers who attended. So I hope we can repeat this success and encourage more employment and apprenticeships in the Ludlow area."

"I urge those looking for work to come along and see what local employment and vocational training opportunities are on offer."

Employers who would like to attend the Jobs Fair on Tuesday February 17 or who are unable to attend but have one or more positions they would like to advertise on the jobs board on the day c an contact Philip Dunne MP's office on 01584 872187 or email gibsonja@parliament.uk.
