LUDLOW Town Council is to hold its annual Christmas party for older people in the town at a place usually the preserve of people at the other end of the age scale.
The Senior Resident’s Christmas Party takes place on Thursday, December 4, at Ludlow College between 2 pm and 4 pm.
“We would like to invite Ludlow’s senior residents to get in contact for tickets,” said Gina Wilding, Ludlow’s town clerk.
Guests will be greeted with a glass of sherry or port and welcomed by Christmas Carols from Ludlow Infant School Choir.
Soup, sandwiches and cake will be prepared and served by Ludlow College students.
Entertainment will include music, bingo and a raffle, with prizes generously donated by local businesses.
Mince pies and fruit will also be on offer.
Call 01584 871 970 to book a place or call into the Town Council Offices in Mill Street.
Tickets are free, but limited to 100, so booking early is recommended.
