THERE is a chance for people looking for work to get together with potential employers in Ludlow.
A jobs fair on Wednesday April 23 will be held at the Harley Centre. It has been organised by Ludlow MP Philip Dunne.
Mr Dunne is urging those looking for employment or training to further their careers to attend his jobs fair from 10am to 1pm.
“I want to do all I can to help those looking for work to find stable, full time employment locally, and to help businesses looking to expand find the right person for their business,” said Philip Dunne.
“That’s why I have organised another jobs fair in Ludlow to help local jobseekers and employers connect.”
“There are currently 30 companies and training providers who will be exhibiting on the day so I urge anyone looking for a job or considering undertaking training courses to improve employment prospects to come along.”
Employers and training providers already signed up to exhibit include Barchester Health, Tesco, Muller England, Esterform, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, the Armed Forces, Nova Training and the National Careers Service.
For businesses looking to advertise a position but who are unable to attend the event there will also be a jobs board to display jobs adverts.
Any businesses who wish to exhibit or advertise a position on the jobs board should contact Jane Gibson in Philip Dunne’s constituency office on 01584 872187.
