A RESTAURANT chain wants to take over the former De Grey’s tearoom in Ludlow.
A planning application has been submitted to turn the former iconic tearooms into a Wildwood restaurant.
The application says the move would create around 40 jobs in Ludlow and would use locally sourced food.
It also states that Wildwood restaurants typically open from mid-morning to late at night. Meals will comprise of grilled dishes, pizzas, pasta and burgers with an emphasis on ‘affordable’ food aimed at all ages. No internal alternations to the historical core of the building are proposed.
