THANK you for covering the story about my desire to ensure good local governance on page 3 of The Advertiser on December 9.
Indeed as the Ludlow mayor outlines on page 2, the need for a new approach to secure funds can only be enhanced with exemplar town council local governance. I truly believe the emerging social enterprise sector will prosper in our market towns by engaging with well run town councils.
By the we way the emails referred to ranged from informing the council of funding information and opportunity to reasonable requests for information. If the town council has no objection I am more than happy to publish the emails on a blog.
A merry Christmas for the Ludlow Marches and an exciting New Year as we look at the town's partnership opportunities as they unfold, and we can all see the process on the town council website.
