I agree with Keith Griffiths’ letter in the Advertiser on November 19 concerning motorists speeding dangerously along the Burford section of the A456. 
One of the problems seems to be that once drivers have crossed the Teme Bridge and turned right towards Burford there is no visible speed limit sign. 
As a result, drivers put their foot down and by the time they reach the 40mph sign (after the new roundabout) they see no reason to slow down as it’s an open road ahead. 
A 30mph sign opposite the bridge could make a major difference.
