THE leading article in the Tenbury Wells Advertiser of July 23 (Works Hit By Troubles) implies that the damage to buildings and lorries mounting the kerbs is as a result of the recently completed roadworks.
This is clearly not the case. The damage to the brickwork of the building opposite to the Tavern pub is historical. There may have been damage since but it is nothing to do with the roadworks.
The width of the roads in this area have not been altered so the events described must have occurred previously. I agree that there is a problem at Crow Corner, but this situation also existed previously. The only difference is that a bollard has been located in a vulnerable position.
