PHILIP Dunne’s very readable Viewpoint column (Advertiser July 16) confirms the Government’s ‘commitment to business’ and sets out the various favoured projects.
By a little bit serendipity his column is printed alongside the excellent letter from Janet Finney in which she quotes York University research – NHS costs £100 billion a year alongside £93 billion of handouts in the form of grants, subsidies and tax breaks for business.
There is little need to say more other than big business profits are safe in their hands.
