AS A caring dog owner I’m all for the “dog poo fairy” campaign as picking up and disposing of my dog’s poop is just something that comes with owning a dog.
What I want to know is, what about the rancid cat poo fairy campaign?
If I allowed my dog to use my neighbour’s garden as a toilet I would be fined and reported to the police.
However, it seems to be ok that if you own a cat then it’s fine to kick it out at night and let it use my gardens to spread its foul-smelling, disease-ridden poop everywhere.
Every morning I find myself clearing up someone else’s pet’s mess before my children step in it or my dog eats it.
Neither of which is in any way acceptable.
Am I alone in thinking this is a disgusting problem that needs addressing?
The solution is simple – it’s called a cat litter tray.
Then your beloved cat can relieve itself in your own house for a change.
