THE condition of Church Stretton Railway Station is appalling, with passengers unable to walk from trains, or the new shelters, in heavy rain, without getting their feet soaking wet.
People should not be forced to get wet feet or carry wellingtons in order to access the station or trains.
Church Stretton Town Council, to whom I wrote over this issue, say that Arriva Trains Wales do not respond to letters of complaints. This is disgraceful.
