STORE CATTLE – 142 A small entry for this extra sale in the month attracted a strong contingent of buyers. Some nice farming cattle on offer and a very good trade again. Steers peaked at 259.0p per kilo to average 216.5p per kilo, heifers peaked at 252.0p per kilo to average 204.0p per kilo and bulls, to include Friesians, peaked at 244.0p per kilo to average 199.7p per kilo. Allsorts met ready competition but good grazing cattle were particularly in demand.
