BRIMFIELD Vintage Club's 18th Annual Working Day will be held on Sunday September 1.

This will take place on the Clee Hill to Ashford Carbonell road opposite the hunt stables between Caynham and Ashford Carbonell.

The day can be enjoyed by all the family and is in aid of Midland Air Ambulance.

This year's attractions are tractor pulling, Welsh axemen, trade stands, vintage combines, harvesting machinery plus Land Rovers, lorries and vintage vehicles.

The event, which starts at 9am, will be sign posted from the A49, the A4117 and Ludlow.

On the day itself there will be a chance to see tractors using a wide range of implements.

Activites include combines cutting corn, bailers collecting straw and ploughing using a range of ploughs.

Tractor pulling will take place throughout the day.

Each year the club has a theme relating to a particular tractor manufacturer.

This theme is used throughout the year before the working day.

Tractors of the manufacturer entered at the day are judged and the tractor the judge picks wins best in show. The theme for 2013 is Zetor.

If you would like to bring your tractor, car, Land Rover or lorry to the event an entry form is available from the Working Day Entry Form page at www.brimfieldvintageclub.co.uk.

The club meets on the last Thursday of every month at Ludlow Football Club at 7.30pm. The next meeting takes place on August 29 and then September 26.
