THE Tenbury Agricultural Society farm competitions committee has just ended its 25th anniversary year.
The landmark was celebrated with a dinner at Sapey Golf Club near Bromyard with 115 people attending.
Guest speaker was Deryc Rees, a dairy farmer from Lllangunor in Carmarthenshire, who gave an entertaining speech.
And Paul Hinwood, one of the society's championship judges, talked the audience through his judging.
All farms within a 10 mile radius of The Clockhouse in Tenbury can enter the competitions and are then split into four classes depending on their acreage/size.
Overall winners are then rejudged to give overall enterprise champions. Roots and maize crops are judged in late autumn.
The committee has a stand or marquee at Tenbury Countryside Show, a fund-raising event in the spring and the presentation dinner in October.
