STELLA Mitchell of the Land of Lost Content museum in Craven Arms is definitely showing her age!
She is commemorating 1967 The Summer of Love on its 50 year anniversary – and demonstrating a knowledge that could only have come first-hand. Stella admits to being there – having been a dedicated follower of Hippy fashion and peace-loving ethics ever since.
The museum is too cramped for temporary exhibitions, so Stella has commandeered the window of an understanding neighbours’ house just down the road from the museum.
Summer of Love artefacts are on show for the rest of August and have been very popular, so far.
Land of Lost Content in Market Street is open daily except Wednesdays.
