POND life is not a term of endearment.
However, there is some fascinating life that lives in water.
Children had a close-up chance to see some of it at a pond-dipping session at the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms.
They were taking part in one of the Discovery Club events for three to 11-year-olds that are held twice a month.
